THE TATE MODERN...at bankside :)

Claude Monet exhibits his painting ' The Water Lily ' on loan from the National Gallery - 1997.

The painting is free from glass protection and is exhibited through natural display, this was well noted by gallery visitors. The very best way to view the real feel of a ' Monet '. I am in complete agreement with the Galleries choice not to encase Claude Monet's work, of this mesmerising piece of art. The work of ' The Water Lily ' painted at the home of Giverny was his base work and inspiration for his on going study. This great piece of abstract expressionism with its' subtle tones of pastel colours, one wouldn't even imagine that it was painted with the use of oil on canvas. To appreciate the magnificence of a Claude Monet's work, it has to be viewed intensely without a mere passing by.
